Description

The Associate Veterinarian's job responsibilities include:

providing comprehensive patient work ups
performing diagnostic procedures and surgery
communicating and educating clients about all aspects of their pet's healthcare
prescribing and approving patient medication
maintaining patient records

Requirements

To qualify, you must be a DVM or VMD and possess a current PA veterinary license. Excellent clinical, surgical, time management, interpersonal, and administrative skills are essential. Experience utilizing IDEXX Cornerstone software in an EMR environment is a plus. Experience with or interest in exotics and/or poultry vet medicine is also a plus. New grads welcome!
