Arroyo Vista Veterinary Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian who is excited to grow within a collaborative, AAHA-accredited practice known for excellent medicine, long-tenured staff, and a supportive culture.
Founded in 2004, Arroyo Vista has become a trusted part of the Moorpark community. Our hospital is led by experienced veterinarians who value mentorship, teamwork, and allowing doctors to focus on practicing high-quality medicine. Many team members have been with the practice for 10+ years, reflecting our commitment to a positive, stable work environment.
About the Hospital
AAHA accredited small animal practice (dogs & cats)
Modern, well-equipped facility
In-house IDEXX laboratory
Digital radiography (including dental)
Ultrasound
Fully equipped surgical suite
Therapeutic laser therapy
Mobile specialists (orthopedic surgery and CT)
On-site grooming
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive base salary ranging from $150,000 - $300,000 depending on experience
Production-based bonuses
Signing bonus up to $25,000

The Role
You will have the autonomy to practice comprehensive medicine while being supported by a highly skilled team. Responsibilities include managing patient care from diagnosis through treatment, collaborating with colleagues, and contributing to hospital protocols and best practices. Strong mentorship is available, and both new graduates and experienced veterinarians are encouraged to apply.
Schedule & Work-Life Balance
Four-day workweek for full-time veterinarians
Rotating Saturdays with shortened hours
No after-hours emergencies and no Sundays
Dedicated lunch breaks
Qualifications
DVM or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited program
ECFVG or PAVE certification accepted
