We are looking for a veterinarian to join our team in an independently owned small animal practice in North Alabama.  We have an excellent support staff and our veterinarians have over  100 years of combined experience in caring for the pets in our community.  We seek to provide the finest care possible while understanding the spectrum of care.  We have a well equipped hospital with IDEXX in house and referral labs, digital radiography (full body and dental), ultrasound, endoscopes, dental suite, therapeutic and cutting lasers. We offer both medical and surgical services as well as dental and preventive care.  We are located in central North Alabama on the interstate system, within one hour of two international airports and within 5 hours drive of the beach and the mountains.  Site selection Magazine picked Cullman as the #5 Micropolitan in the nation for 2025 and we were #2 in the USA Today Readers Choice Awards for best small town cultural scene.  We encourage professional development with time and financial compensation for continuing education.  We have health, dental, vision, and liability insurance available.  We offer 401K match and coverage for professional dues and licenses.

Requirements

Our office is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 5:30 and Saturday from 8 to 12.  Our full time veterinarians work approximately 40 hours each week treating patients, doing surgery, and educating clients. We work with each other to ensure the continuity of care while allowing for flexibility in scheduling.  We try to make sure everyone gets two days off each week and two three day weekends each month,  We do provide hospitalization to our patients and one veterinarian is responsible for treatments on weekends and holidays.  We no longer take after office hours emergencies.
