Structure:

• Monday-Friday, 8am - 4pm.  One half-day per week, assigned, for full-time employees only.
• Provide daily support to our veterinarians (1:1, doctor:technician/assistant ratio), predominantly ambulatory.
• Participate in hospital patient care, as directed by the attending veterinarian.
• Technician appointments scheduled 1-2 days per week
• Support daily practice functions:  preparation, restocking, laboratory, pharmacy, client communications
• Monthly support staff meetings, biannual employee reviews

The practice is located in picturesque Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, on 23 acres of idyllic farmland.  Our clinic is complete with a pharmacy, examination and standing surgical suite, 8-stall stable with remote A/V capabilities in each stall, ICU suite, and in-house laboratory.  An outdoor jog strip, round pen, and options for small paddock turnout round out our facilities. 

We are 20 minutes from the Harrisburg Farm Show Complex, 20 minutes from the Harrisburg International Airport (MDT), 20 minutes from Hershey Park, and 20 minutes from downtown Lancaster.  The area offers incredible hiking, biking, and riding trails and is a short distance from the mighty Susquehanna River.  You can catch a Hershey Bears ice hockey game, or relax under the lights at a Lancaster Barnstormers baseball game.  Vineyards, microbreweries, and foodie destinations abound.  The area truly has something for everyone.
