Description
Animal Health Care Center is a well-established clinic in beautiful Northern Wisconsin, and we’re on the lookout for at least one full-time associate veterinarian to join our fantastic team. AHCC has been proudly caring for the pets in the Rhinelander community (and beyond) since 1994. We’re a privately owned clinic and plan to stay that way for the foreseeable future. We also have an amazing support staff with a very low turnover rate.
Whether you’ve been working in veterinary medicine for years and have a wealth of experience or you’re a new graduate, if you have a positive attitude and are willing to be a team player, we’d love to hear from you. The position doesn’t require after-hours emergencies, and hours are somewhat flexible. Our clinic is currently open from 8 am to 5 pm, 5 days a week, and from 8 to 12 every other Saturday.
AHCC is a full-service veterinary clinic, mainly seeing dogs and cats with the occasional pocket pet, lizard, or rabbit. We use digital radiographs, ultrasound, full in-house blood analyzers, and therapy lasers.
A full-time position would also include health insurance, a Simple IRA, paid vacation, and competitive compensation. So, if you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city or simply love the outdoors, this Northern Wisconsin location is perfect for you. We have a strong community with a thriving school district, including the nation’s largest air-supported dome: https://www.rhinelander.k12.wi.us/community/hodag-dome.cfm.
