Dr. Wes Rice graduated from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001.  He and his wife, Kristy, started The Family Pet Vet in 2007, with a desire to offer quality medicine and excellent customer service in a welcoming, home-like environment. Dr. Rice enjoys complex surgeries, dentistry, challenging internal medicine cases, and building lasting client relationships.  While they work hard, he and Kristy strongly believe that family comes before work.  They encourage the team to spend quality time with their families.  Dr. Rice and Kristy share an enthusiasm for veterinary medicine with the support staff team.  They all love unique cases and learning together.
