Description

Build your skills in a real-life clinical setting. Veterinary externs will practice case management and surgical skills in a busy general practice seeing canine and feline patients. Under the oversight of our experienced clinicians you will examine, request diagnostics, and form preliminary treatment plans for well-pet and standard urgent care patients. You will develop client communication skills and learn to use diagnostic decision trees efficiently. Requirements

Applications must be:

• A second, third, or fourth year veterinary student in good academic standing.
• Able to travel of their own volition to Central Wisconsin.
• Highly motivated to ask questions and willing to learn in a hands-on manner.
