Description
About us:
For over 16 years, Boulevard Animal Hospital has been one of Athens most trusted
independent veterinary practices. Consistently voted as one of the Flagpole Favorite practices in the area, we have deep ties to our community. Proudly privately owned we've built our reputation on personalized care, strong client relationships, and a staff that genuinely loves
what they do. As a multi-doctor practice, we foster a collaborative environment where
veterinarians support one another, share knowledge, and grow together. At Boulevard, you're
not just a number — you're a valued member of a close-knit team.
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Small Animal Veterinarian to join our
hospital. You'll work alongside fellow doctors and skilled support staff in a well-
equipped facility, delivering exceptional medical, surgical, and preventive care to dogs, cats,
and other companion animals. Athens offers an active, pet-loving community — including a large UGA
student and faculty base — which means a steady, engaged client base and a rewarding, varied
caseload.
Why Independent Practice?
At Boulevard Animal Hospital, you'll have the clinical autonomy to practice medicine
the way you were trained — with the support of experienced colleagues and a leadership team
that genuinely invests in your success and well-being.
Athens offers an outstanding quality of life — acclaimed live music, a flourishing restaurant
scene, outdoor recreation along the North Oconee River Greenway, and easy access to Atlanta
(70 miles west) and the Blue Ridge Mountains. With the University of Georgia at its heart,
Athens blends small-town warmth with big-city energy. It's a wonderful place to build both a
career and a life.
