Description
Full-Time Veterinarian | $165,000 Base Salary | 3 Days On, 3 Days Off
Honnas Veterinary | Austin, Texas
Build a career with variety, strong nursing support, and time to enjoy your life outside the hospital.
Honnas Veterinary is seeking a full-time veterinarian to join our privately owned hospital. We combine general practice, urgent care, and emergency medicine—giving you the opportunity to build lasting client relationships while managing the challenging cases that keep medicine interesting.
With a $165,000 base salary and a rotating three-days-on, three-days-off schedule, this position offers meaningful clinical work and regular stretches of time away to recharge.
A Practice That Keeps You Engaged
Our hospital is open seven days a week, serving pets who need everything from routine preventive care to urgent treatment and emergency intervention. You’ll have the opportunity to follow cases, develop treatment plans, and make a meaningful difference for patients and their families.
If you enjoy the relationships of general practice and the pace and problem-solving of urgent and emergency care, you’ll find both here.
Skilled Nursing Support and Access to Specialist Interpretation
Great medicine takes a capable team. Our certified nurses acquire ultrasound and echocardiogram images, which are submitted to a radiologist and cardiologist, respectively, for interpretation. This gives you access to valuable diagnostic insight while our nursing team supports the imaging process.
For patients who require continued hospitalization, a critical care nurse provides overnight monitoring and care. We do not accept new patients overnight, but hospitalized patients remain under nursing supervision.
