Are you a Board-Certified Veterinary Surgeon or Residency-Trained Veterinarian ready for a different kind of specialty practice? CVETS is seeking a full-time Outpatient Specialty Surgeon to join our expanding West Columbia location- an innovative, outpatient-focused model designed for efficiency, collaboration, and exceptional patient care. This is a unique opportunity to focus on high-quality surgical care in a streamlined, outpatient environment- without the demands of overnight hospitalization.
Here’s how you’ll make a difference:
- Deliver Expert Surgical Care: Perform orthopedic and non-complex soft tissue procedures in a modern, state-of-the-art outpatient setting
- Own the Case Journey: Manage cases from consultation through discharge with a same-day or short-stay focus
- Collaborate Across Services: Partner closely with Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, and Oncology teams on-site
- Leverage System-Wide Expertise: Work in sync with our Northeast 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital and a VECCS Level 1 Certified Facility, supported by 15+ specialists across Neurology, Radiology, Cardiology, and Critical Care
- Innovate the Model: Help shape and refine outpatient surgical workflows in a growing and evolving practice

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Board-Certified (DACVS) Veterinary Surgeon or Residency-Trained Veterinarian
- Strong clinical judgment and surgical proficiency in orthopedics and soft tissue
- Excellent communication and case management skills
- Interest in building and optimizing outpatient surgical workflows
